About EMPOWER

EMPOWER is an approach to instructional design that integrates opportunities for students to explore and enact their own values.

Drawing from contextual behavioral science, EMPOWER is a set of tools and strategies that guide students to notice how their assignments and interactions can be contexts for values-consistent behavior, and to choose those values-consistent behaviors even when it’s hard.
